Changelog July 17th — July 19th

A refined interface — calmer admin and settings, a fresher Explore, passkeys, Send a Scribble that stays on the post, and outbound webhooks for the folks who automate. You can read about the latest interface changes here.

July 17, 2026

• ✨ Passkeys — add a passkey under Login & Security and sign in without typing your password. Your browser can offer it automatically on the sign-in screen. Easy.

July 18, 2026

• ✨ Send a Scribble stays on the post — readers compose in an embed modal instead of leaving the page. Sign-in and send work on custom domains too, then drop you back into the note. Also easy and better. Opens the doors to other things.
• ✨ Day-first dates — under Nitpick, you can show dates like “19 July 2026” across your themes. Being all international!
• ✨ Welcome after checkout — new accounts land on the welcome flow once billing succeeds, instead of sitting on the billing screen. Just making it nicer and clearer what's happening and less confusing.
• 💅 Sticky notes off by default — new accounts start without sticky notes; turn them on anytime in settings if you want them. More work for me to do around stickies.

July 19, 2026

• ✨ Outbound webhooks — under Feeds → Actions, point Scribbles at your own URLs and get a JSON ping when you publish, so deploys and automation can keep up without a full headless setup. See the docs for info. More to come here... just some brainwave today.
• 🐛 Send a Scribble after sign-in — fixed a custom-domain case where the compose form could fail right after you signed in to leave a note.
