the Mutts
Life's journalMutts comics, by Patrick McDonnell is one of those piece of heart that enlighten my heart every single time I read them. Like works by Liz Climo or Bill Whatterson or the masters Charles Schultz and Quino they are at the same time simple, profound, gentle and full of love.
Unfortunately in Italy Mutts did not have a proper editorial success and, as far as I know, only two or three books were published. A drop in the sea in over 30 years of its existence on the comics' market.
It's a pity that a full books of the archived strips seems not to be found, but one of my next goals is to get the ones that have been published.
