Archive a blog
New FeaturesYou can now, after one request from myself, archive your blogs! Great for that blog you want to keep around but will no longer use. For example when you've worked on a project, kept the blog up to date, but decided to move on.
Archiving is straight forward and non-destructive. Just head on over to the blog settings, scroll down a bit and you'll get a new "Archive this blog..." link — you'll get some info about your blog, some words to tell you what it's about and then you can go ahead and archive it.
When you archive a blog it will remain hosted as you've previously set up, your posts will stay intact (and you can edit posts if needed). However, you will no longer be able to create new posts.
In addition to this, you will make room for a new blog — at the moment there is a maximum of 5 blogs limit. If you tried to create a 6th, it will stop you from doing so — however if you archive one blog, you'll have space to create another.
You can always unarchive a blog at any time as long as you have a spot available and won't go above your 5 blogs limit.
Archived blogs will not show up in the quick switcher in the header — however you can always select it from your "Blogs & Settings" page and make it active so you can view your posts and settings.
And that's it. Hope you like it.
