I caught the flu before the New Year, so I've had to cancel all my work and personal plans for the rest of the year, which is a real shame. But when I think about it, I rarely take long holidays at work. I just take a set number of days off each month, but irregularly. This time, I had to stay home, which gave me time to watch all the online videos I'd been meaning to watch and read all the e-books I'd been meaning to read.I know, ironic, but I'm actually quite enjoying it.I've even started thinking that I might want to schedule long holidays in advance from now on.
