Hello, world! This is only a test!

For the past several months I've been enjoying hosting both of my blogs at Pika.page. After hearing so many great things about Scribbles, and seeing how quickly they've been adding features, particularly ones like OMG.lol integration and analytics, I knew I had to try it out! So here I am.

The biggest thing on my mind recently has been my 16 year old daughter's upcoming school trip to the Dominican Republic next week. It will be her first trip without a parent. She's nervous and excited, and so am I. I know that she's smart, careful, and always aware of her surroundings. And I know that the DR is a pretty safe place to travel, but I can't help but worry a bit. I am excited for her though, as she'll get to do lots of great things like snorkeling, surfing, and zip-lining. My other daughter and I will be going to Busch Gardens during spring break next week. We're both roller coaster lovers so it's going to be a blast.

Other than that I'm just thinking about all the projects we want to do in the house and the yard once the weather stays consistently warm. My back is going to hurt for a few months.
