Beaufort, SC This is a cute little shop in the front of the City Loft Hotel, which looks like a boutique hotel in an old motel. It’s right in the heart of the historic district and has a good selection of coffees as well as some food options. We ordered mochas with oat milk, a breakfast sandwich, and a breakfast burrito. The food is premade but they heat it up. Everything is tasty and I would visit again.
Bluffton, SC Cute little place in downtown Bluffton that roasts their own beans. They serve some food in addition to the full service coffee bar. They make all their own syrups too. We ordered two mochas with oat milk. Very tasty, not too sweet but nice and chocolatey. But also pretty pricey.
Savannah, GA This is a very “patriotic” coffee shop on River Street. I’ve seen their beans online before and I think has some at one point, but didn’t realize the military-forward vibe of the company. They sell coffee beans, stickers, patches, and clothes as well as the full cafe in the back. We ordered a light brew and a dark brew. Both were strong but tasty. Just what we needed as we strolled along the river and through the craft market.
Alexandria VA This is the coffee shop side of a great little crepe restaurant near King Street. We had always wanted to try it and saw it open on a morning walk. We both ordered oat milk mochas (hot because it was in the 60s)
Portland OR We had lunch at a nearby food truck then walked to Kinokuniya. We needed some coffee before going back to the car and found this corner shop filled with plants. Looked very nice in there. We all ordered iced mochas with oat milk.
Portland OR Morning coffee at this place the son found. They have four locations and make their own flavor syrups. The wife and I got iced bourbon caramel oat milk lattes and the son got an orange blossom iced latte.
Portland OR Walked through the historic Mississippi neighborhood after being out at the Columbia River Gorge most of the day. This little shop on the corner looked well loved and serves Stumptown coffee. The wife and I ordered cold brew, the son got a double shot of espresso.
Portland OR Stopped at this little drive-through coffee shop near our hotel. I think we got iced mochas.
Portland OR Walked from Powell's to Oblation Paper and we stopped here for an iced pick-me-up. The wife and son ordered iced lavender lattes and I ordered an iced honey oat latte. Mine was better than theirs.
Eugene OR Stopped in this corner shop downtown after a day of shopping. Seemed no frills but had a lot to offer. We ordered iced oat milk mochas. The son didn't get anything because he doesn't like Wandering Goat coffee beans.
Eugene OR This cafe was right around the corner from the Airbnb. The son said it was a good one, so we tried it. The wife and I ordered oat milk mochas (hot, because it was 65 out) and the son got an iced one.
Florence OR Cute little cafe in a touristy little town on the coast of Oregon. It smelled really good inside. I ordered a mocha because it was chilly. Very tasty with good coffee flavor and a hint of not too chocolatey.
Ashland OR Stopped in town for lunch and to walk by the theaters. We both ordered iced mochas with oat milk.
Chico CA This shop was near our first apartment together in Chico; where we lived when our daughter was born. It used to be across the street and capitalized on the Friends theme of Central Perk. Now it's in a bigger spot across the street and looks like a typical cafe. We ordered iced coconut coffees that are good and not too coconut forward. They also offered watermelon iced coffee which doesn't sound appealing.
Chico, CA This is a little drive-thru coffee shop we used to visit for their frozen drinks when we lived here. It was new then and hasn't changed since. We ordered iced mochas with oat milk and they were very tasty.
