A friend of mine invited some friends for an ealy ride yesterday and I took the chance to join in, since the weather in the souther Italy is at its hottest of the season and chances to ride with somebody else is rare.

By 9:30 we were already at home, but riding to me is very much like meditation and keeps all the ‘bad thoughts’ away, put them in the right perspective and helps me to stay sane.

Also, opening the throttle on my Ducati is always a fun experience!

Did I already said I love stupid things developed and reiterated with passion and consistency over time? Here's one perfect example of this

In the last couple of months I got involved in the purchase of some Disney's comic books for my son. Along them I found some real nice stories using the Disney's popular characters to tell stories, leveraging on each characters' talent to unfold new stories. Among them two graphic novels from Italian artist Fabio Celoni in premium format that tells stories with Scrooge as the main character.

A pleaseant discovery in the comics editorial production in Italy.

I wonder how many of these good stories are translated to the international market. Some are remarkable.

… simply, in these last weeks, I do not feel any urge to write down something. Life movest fast, and many times I feel I am too busy just running to keep the pace of the events.

How those events have an impact on me is a matter of a later thinking. Maybe all I nees is vacations. Which, at the state of the art, seems to arrive late in this July. Let's hope so!

If someone today would ask me what a desire of mine could be, staying away from hospitals would be really high on the list…

P.S. = don't worry, it's a routine check… but I'm tired of doing them already!

No matter how tired you are, you'll never be as tired as a cat that hasn't done a single thing all day.

One of the coolest things in 2026 was the Artemis II mission which tried to show people all over the world that there's still some beauty and hope in human collaboration to achieve a greater COMMON goal, instead of going hunting 'personal' – or stricktly National – ones.

The four astronauts out there in the space, to me, have commented like below the view of our little, insignificant world among the billions and billions of other planets out there.

… this photo, along with the quote that a Sicilian friend posted on his profile, made me smile. There's a longing for summer and lightness, hoping that this international mess sparked by Israel and Trump stops and gives us a break.
