On Indies

Every once in a while, I would come across with an excellent and beautiful-looking indie video game and unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you slice it, are on Steam only. Or at least at first.

Why, unfortunately? well, I don't have a Steam Deck (or facsimile) or a computer decent enough to play these games. I think.

Why, fortunately? well, if I had a Steam Deck (or facsimile) or a computer decent enough to play these games, I would spend so much money.

I already spend a lot of whenever some of these games do make it to the Nintendo Switch, and not every game makes it. Some even make it after a year or two of being out on Steam. I sometimes even buy them twice as they usually get a digital release before the physical. Even if I never finished them – or even play them, at times– I still buy them when I can and if they're interesting enough.
