Watergate Cake (Pistachio)

Cakes and Icing

1 package of white cake mix
1 package 3.5 oz pistachio pudding mix
1 cup salad oil
3 eggs
.5 cups chopped pecans
1 cup club soda

  1. Combine all ingredients. Beat 4 minutes at medium speed.

  2. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan.

  3. Bake at 350 degrees. Cake is done when it springs back at touch (approximately 45 to 50 minutes).

  4. Frost when cooled. Garnish with pecans.

Frosting:
1 3.5 oz package pistachio pudding mix.
1 large carton Cool Whip

  1. Mix well together.
