Lemon Sheet Cake

Cakes and Icing

1 package lemon cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 can lemon frosting
1 - 8 oz. package cream cheese (softened)
2 eggs


1. Combine cake mix, butter, and 1 egg. Mix with fork until moist.
2. Put in to 9x13 inch pan, greased only on the bottom.
3. Blend frosting mix into cream cheese (remove 1/2 cup for later use).
4. Add 2 eggs and mix together. Spread on top of first layer.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
6. Cool.
7. Spread reserved 1/2 cup of frosting on top.
8. Cut into bars.
