Cream Cheese Pound Cake
Cakes and Icing3 sticks of butter
2 cups of sugar
Dash of salt
6 large
eggs
1.5 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups sifted cake flour
1-8
oz. package of cream cheese
1. Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add salt and vanilla. Beat well.
3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4. Stir in flour. Spoon mixture into greased 10 inch tube pan.
5. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 1/2 hours.
It is best to have all ingredients at room temperature.
You will need a large bowl for mixing this cake.
