Week Notes 007
weekNotes🗓️ // 052524-053124
I must admit, I’m not doing a very good job with staying on top of Week Notes. I’m tempted to title it Weak Notes* because I’m just not sure how much I can keep this up in the future. Had to do this week since it also coincided with the end of May. Anyways, to some things this week…Â
- Wrapped up WeblogPoMo, and created the skeleton page for JUnited (but by the time this post is live, it’s no longer just a skeleton). I’ll be updating that page daily, but won’t appear in your RSS feed, so make sure to check that out if you’re interested.
- We started our research and buying process for a new mattress. Getting older means requiring certain things from a mattress so that we don’t wake up the next morning feeling like a truck ran over us. Ended up getting a Tempur-Pedic mattress, with an adjustable base. Needless to say, this is the fanciest mattress+base I’ve ever owned.
- A former co-worker turned friend visited California on Friday. I haven’t seen her since our last day working together in DC in early 2019. It’s always nice to catch up with old friends.
- Attended my monthly book club with friends to discuss Meet Me on the Bridge by Sarah J. Harris
📚 Reading
- Finished book 17 of 24: A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas. This is the 3rd book of the series and really enjoyed it. Personal rating: 4/5 stars
- Didn’t read or listen to other books this week since I was focused on finishing the book above.
📺 Watching
- Memento (2000) on Amazon Prime - I first watched this in college but LC had never seen it. It’s one of those movies that you kind of have to pay attention to in order to understand it. Maybe it’ll be easier to understand if you played the movie backwards. IYKYK.
- Killing Eve, season 4 — almost done with the series
